Troy Smuin

Troy Dee Smuin age 64 of Vernal, husband of Laurie Smuin, passed away on November 4, 2025, at his home. Troy was born on August 11, 1961, to Jessie Darlene and Pat in Vernal, Utah. Troy married Laurie on August 13, 1982, in Vernal, Utah.

Troy enjoyed fishing, wood working, being outside spending time with friends and family. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his wife Laurie, children Gerek Smuin, Chelsy, Anderson and Machelle Christofferson.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jessie Darlene and father Pat.

Graveside services for Troy will be held Saturday, November 8th at 12:00pm in Vernal Memorial Park. A visitation will be held that morning from 10:00am ~ 11:30am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
