Verdell Robert Wagner

Verdell Robert Wagner, better known as Wag, passed away on June 4th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Born June 17th, 1932 to his parents Violet and Christian Wagner in Alexander Iowa.

Wag was loved by many including his children Verlinda, Bobbie Joe, Danny, Doyle, Kim, Brenda, Terry, Jimmy, Kenny, and Shawnee. Wag also had many grandchildren, each with their own special nicknames.

Wag loved cooking his famous potato salad and baked beans for the Ross family reunions. He loved going fishing with his brothers-in-law Harold.

Wag was so loved by many people in his life, but especially by his wife Juanita, who he was married to for 43 years. Wag will be deeply missed, but the time we had with him is something that will forever be cherished.
