Violet Brown
March 5, 1924 — October 2, 2014
Violet M. Brown, age 90, resident of Grand Junction, Colorado for 30+ years, passed away in Vernal, Utah on October 2, 2014. Violet was born on March 5, 1924 in Douglas, Wyoming to Glen Hudson and Matilda Disney. Violet enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Alta Waters; granddaughter, Kelly Rogers; grandchildren: Matthew and Mitchell Rogers; sisters: Eveyln Dominquez and Ethel Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Brown; Companion, Otto Armstrong and her parents.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11AM at the St. James Catholic Church in Vernal, Utah. A Rosary will be held Thursday evening at 7PM at the St. James Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com
