William Lloyd Anderson

William (Bill) Lloyd Anderson, Jr. passed away on January 3rd 2023 at the age of 63. Bill was born July 3 1959 to Barbara Ann Griffis and William Lloyd Anderson, Sr. in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived in Utah until he was 14 when he moved to Georgia with his family and worked on the family farm. He served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended college at Utah State University. Bill was a life long learner with multiple degrees and careers including, teaching, agriculture and information technology. Most recently he worked at Fort Duchesne with the Bureau of Indian Affairs as an IT professional Bill married the love of his life Mildred (Milly) June Black on April 10th, 1998 in Millwood, Georgia. Bill enjoyed fishing, gardening, exploring nature, telling stories and serving his community. He loved playing with his grandchildren and being active with his church. He is survived by his wife, Milly, children: Kayla, Christine, Thomas and Mara, step children: Malcolm, Mills, Madison, and 15 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Ann Griffis and father William Lloyd Anderson, Sr. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Naples 1st Ward Chapel (2313 South 1500 East). A viewing for friends and family will be held Thursday evening from 6-8PM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. No viewing will be held at the church. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
