William "Lee" Turner

William "Lee" Turner passed away on August 16, 2022 at the age of 70. Lee was born on January 27, 1952 to Phyllis and Daniel Turner in Tooele, Utah. Lee married Mary Lou on April 25, 1981. They later divorced. Lee enjoyed Ham Radio, working on engines, cars, motorcycles and racing. He loved his family and storytelling. He loved guns and taking apart anything he could get his hands on and tried to put it back together. Lee is survived by his three sisters: Claudia (Gary) Reynolds, Jeane Brooks, and Dana Powell; children: Bill Turner, Brad Turner, Amyekira Turner (Alex Dimick) and Jacob Collier; grandchildren: Jossilyn and Deaglan Collier, Kruz and Mesa Dimick; many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Lee is preceded in death by his parents Dan and Phyllis Turner, brother David W. Turner, daughter Maren Nicole Collier and nephew Matt Simper. Funeral services for Lee will be held Tuesday August 23, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Maeser 1st Ward Chapel (850 West 100 North). Visitation for family and friends will be 11:45am - 12:45pm at the church. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
