Alice (Bodily) Ruppe

Surrounded by her family, Alice Bodily Ruppe passed away on January 6th, 2022 at the age of 73, just 2 weeks shy of her birthday. Alice was born on January 20th, 1948 to Olen Hunting Bodily and Reed Fisher Bodily in Vernal, Utah. Alice married Clyde Norman Ruppe on November 10th, 1967 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Alice loved her large family and dear friends more than anything and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her sweetheart, of 54 years, Clyde; sons: Glen (Victoria), Phillip, Christopher, Andrew, Michael (K.C.); daughters: Alicia Wilkins, Angela (Taylon) Slaugh, Alayna, and Adrianna (Eric) Fuchs, 26 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Brothers: LaThare (Karen), Kent (Nancy), and Errol Bodily; sisters: Vadrus (Lowell) Roberts and Sharon (Bill) Schaefermeyer; in-laws: Shirley Oldaker, Gladys Peterson, and Jack (Reita) Ruppe; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Joseph and Tharon; sisters: Athly, Barbara, and Carolyn; son: Norman, grandson: Tyler, great grandson: Colton; Brothers and Sisters in law.

Services will be held on January 15th, 2022 at 11:00am at the Uintah Stake Center, 4080 south 2500 east, A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday January 14th, 6-8:00pm, at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home, 410 North 800 West and Saturday, January 15th, 9:45-10:45am, at the Uintah Stake Center prior to service. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.

Our family would like to thank the many kind doctors, nurses, and home health workers (especially Paige) who showed so much love and care to our mother.
