Bill Zimmerman Obituary
Bill Zimmerman passed away on May 17, 2020 at the age of 96. Bill was born on November 2, 1923 to Jessie and Narb Zimmerman in Grandfield, Oklahoma. Bill married Marilyn Louise Walker on June 9, 1948. They had a wonderful 72 years of marriage.
They had five children: Tom, Jerrie, Dennis, Betty Bill. Bill served in the Army during WWII. He was dropped in Rome and marched to France and various places throughout Europe. After the war he met and married Marilyn. Bill loved to fish, travel and spend time with his family.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents Narb and Jessie Zimmerman, and sister Oleta Zimmerman Morton.
Bill is survived by his wife of 72 years Marilyn Louise Walker Zimmerman, Vernal, Utah; Children: Tom Zimmerman, Vernal, Utah; Jerrie Zimmerman, Purcell, Oklahoma; Dennis Zimmerman, New Braunfels, Texas; Betty Zimmerman Carter, Orem, Utah; and Bill Zimmerman, Vernal, Utah. Also, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at the Moon Shine Arch Ranch. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 11.Celebration of Life Tue, May 26, 2020 at 10:00 amPower House Ministry
