Carma Rae (Taylor) Hartle passed away on 2 November 2022 at the age of 80. Carma was born on August 9, 1942 to Fontella Moosman and Harvey Rulon Taylor in Vernal, Utah. She married her sweetheart Keith K Hartle on June 17, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Carma was a devoted wife and mother. Her pride and joy were her children and their families. She loved visiting with them, especially her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Service and love were her byword and she leaves a legacy of hearts deeply touched by her Christlike love.
Carma served as the Relief Society President, Primary President, and numerous other church callings. Her favorite calling was as a homemaker, wife and mother. She was widely known as a wonderful cook. Her rolls were served at hundreds of ward luncheons and funerals. She kept an immaculate home, and loved to garden, especially her many gorgeous roses. She was always crocheting and many today are still warmed by her prize afghans.
She is survived by her children; Todd (Sharon) Hartle, Scott (Ross) Hartle and Jana (Chris) Jones; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; siblings; Elaine Woolley.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Keith, beloved son Duane, parents Fontella (Moosman) and Harvey Taylor, sister Beulah Irene Nyberg, brother's-in-law, G. Eugene Nyberg, and Max Woolley.
Funeral services for Carma will be held Saturday November 5, 2022 at 12:00pm at the Lapoint LDS Chapel. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:45am ~ 11:45am at the church. Interment in the Lapoint Cemetery. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
