Charlie Garcia

Charlie Garcia Jr., age 60, of Vernal passed away on November 2, 2023. Charlie was born on March 9, 1963, in Vernal, Utah, to Mary and Charlie Garcia.

Charlie enjoyed being around family. He was a kid at heart and enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews play together. Charlie was an exceptionally hard worker and a very strong person. He looked forward to the days he had to work at the Uintah Care Center because he loved the people and felt like he had a purpose there. He was always willing to help those around him whenever there was a job to be done. His favorite holiday was Halloween and he found joy in scaring others. He also loved video games, race cars, fixing things, and putting puzzles together. Charlie had a kind heart and loved to give others whatever he had to give.

Charlie will be reunited in Heaven with his mother, Mary G. Garcia, and his father, Charlie E. Garcia.

He is survived by his sisters, Dolores Manning and Janice M. Garcia; and his brother, James F. Garcia.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Vernal Memorial Park (1750 South 500 E). Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
