Charlotte Ann (Robichaux) Babin

Charlotte Ann (Robichaux) Babin passed away on January 19, 2023 at the age of 70. Charlotte was born on August 25, 1952 to Beatrice Robichaux and Sidney Robichaux in Houma, Louisiana. Charlotte married Richard James Babin on October 9, 1976 in Houma, Louisiana. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with family and working in the Church. She is survived by her husband, Richard, her daughter, Alice Babin Wools, son-in-law, Joe Wools, grandson, Mikhail Babin of Naples Florida grandson, Scotty Arabie of Vernal, Utah, her brother Sidney Robichaux, Jr of Houma, sister Jeanette and husband Pete Pitre of Thibodaux, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Beatrice and Sidney Robichaux, Sr, her son, SSG Christopher James Babin, , killed in action, sisters, Shirley Orgeron and LaJeanne Marcel. Catholic Funeral Mass for Charlotte will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 at St James the Greater Catholic Church (138 N 100 W), Vernal, Utah. Rosary will be held at 10:30am prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. Private Family Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. God saw Charlotte was getting tired, and a cure was not to be; so he put his arms around her and whispered, " Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched her suffer, and saw her fade away; although we loved her dearly, we could not make her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest; God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best!
