Clifta Carol (Searle) Johnson

Clifta Carol Searle Johnson passed away on June 30, 2021 at the age of 84. Clifta was born on May 14, 1937 to Wanneta Burton and Clifton Charles Searle in Vernal, Utah. Clifta married Iowa Dean Johnson on November 19, 1954 in Vernal, Utah.

Clifta's family was her life. She loved family get togethers and attended all activities of her children and grandchildren. She worked in retail, food services and as a secretary so she could spoil her kids. She loved to travel. Clifta was a beautiful woman who was particular about her appearance. She loved having her hair and her nails done. Clifta was a shopper with a sparkling taste for clothes and accessories. She was an avid fan of (HSN) Home Shopping Network. Clifta loved Connie and Betty her loyal friends and neighbors for over 60 years. Together the three of them raised their families, welcomed grandchildren as they faced lifes challenges.

She is survived by her children: Deborah (Ned) Davis, Tamara (Randy) Vincent, Quentin (Belinda) Johnson and 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Clifta is preceded in death by her husband Dean Johnson, grandson Anthony Davis, parents Wanneta and Clifton Searle, brothers Lenard LeRoy Searle and Ellis Burton Caldwell, stepfather Elmer Ray Caldwell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at the Maeser 3rd Ward Chapel (3040 North 1500 West) at 11:00 a.m. A viewing for family and friends will be held Monday evening from 6:30-8:30p.m. and Tuesday 9:45-10:45a.m. both at the Chapel.
