Coleen (Collett) Hancock Cunningham passed from this life to the next on March 4th, 2023. She was born of goodly parents Howard S. Collett and Fern Walkup Collett on May 28th, 1930, in Vernal, Utah.

Coleen lived in Utah, California, New Mexico, Tennessee, Kansas, Colorado, and Arizona, where she graduated from Mesa High in 1954. She met and married Francis Gerald (Jerry) Hancock on June 24th,1954, in the Mesa, AZ, LDS Temple. She was a faithful military wife and followed Jerry all over the globe, including Germany. Together they raised five children. Jerry passed away in 1986, leaving her a widow. Later, she met and married Marvin Charles (Chuck) Cunningham in Vernal, UT, in May 2000. Together they served a mission in Nashville, TN, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Coleen loved scouting. She was a leader for the Boy Scouts of America for 50 years. She was awarded the Silver Beaver Award for exceptional character and service in 1983. She loved to teach and serve others. She was a great hostess and loved having people around her. She worked many jobs, but the one she loved the most was the 15 years she was the office manager for Dr. Randy Labrum.

Coleen is survived by her children, Colette (Mark) Kremin and Lance (Becky) Hancock, stepdaughter Patti (Ron) Russo, daughters-in-law Dawn Hancock, and Lillian Hancock, her siblings Floyd (Joan) Collett, and Judy (Bud) Shelton, as well as 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
