Daniel James Stratton, a caring son, brother, and friend to many, passed away on Friday May 19, 2023 at the age of 33.
Daniel was a bright, intelligent, and energetic human being who befriended all and cared more for others than he did himself. His smile was infectious, and his humor was a much-needed light in an often-dark world. He always strived to help others achieve the best possible version of themselves and was always willing to help anyone who was in need.
Daniel's passions were wrestling, kickboxing and MMA and he found success in each of these with a notable high school wrestling record, an exciting career in MMA/cage fighting and finally, teaching his art to people in his community when he opened a gym and had a thriving personal training and kickboxing studio.
Daniel's life was cut too short when he lost his battle with the disease of addiction. He will be missed by so many, but never forgotten by anyone who met him.
Daniel is preceded in death by his brother Josh Yanez.
He is survived by his dad; Craig Stratton and mom; Barbara Stratton, his sister; Raychel Dolich and brother, Matthew Stratton, girlfriend; Andi Boyd, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Please join us in celebrating Daniel's life. As anyone who met Dan probably knows, he loved entertaining people. So let us all come together and bid him a special final farewell
