Darrell Ray Jenkins

Darrell Ray Jenkins passed away on October 7, 2023 at the age of 65. Darrell was born on June 25, 1958 to Betty Louise Mohar and Ted Jenkins in Vernal, UT. He married Callie Mckee on August 25, 1986.

Darrell was self-employed with Jenkins Music & Vending of Utah since 1978, until retiring a few years ago. Darrell just loved entertaining everyone. Darrell had a love for music so much that he learned to start playing the guitar and was teaching his grandson and friends how to as well. He loved motorcycles, guns, and fishing. He spent a lot of time with his family hunting and fishing. His daughter Jessica and grandkids were his favorite to be around.

Darrell loved to raise hell, but his heart was very giving. He has said, "I'm just a quite happy camper, that refuses to be ordinary, honest no doubt, but ordinary NOT even!"

Darrell's life was tragically cut short on October 7th but he will be forever loved and missed.

He is survived by his wife Callie (McKee) Jenkins; daughter Jessica (Bo) Bristol and stepdaughter Carrie Zeller of Vernal; grandkids Brody & Breighlyn Bristol, Kelli (Zeller) & Dakota Labrum and Korbin Zeller; great grand daughter Finnley Labrum; brothers, Lee (Tamarra) Jenkins, Pat (Robin) Jenkins, Bobby (Mary) Jenkins all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and Dr's. Bill and Tammy Jenkins of Fort Collins Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his parents Betty Louise (Mohar) & Ted T. Jenkins; nephew Teddy Lee Jenkins; his two beloved dogs Dacey and Dacer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life for Darrie will be held Thursday October 12th at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 N 800 W). Interment will be in Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
