Obituary
Dustin "J" Abplanalp passed away May 5, 2023 at the age of 47. He was born on June 8, 1975 to Flora Davenport and David Lee Abplanalp in SLC, Utah.
Dustin enjoyed watching his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys, and talking smack on everyone else's team. He enjoyed riding his side by side with his adopted Grandma, Renae Cossey. For many years he was in a lot of pain, and he is no longer suffering.
He is survived by parents; sister Tiffany Gardiner (Mike), Sandy, UT; three brothers- Travis (Misti) West Jordan, UT; Brandon (Vicki), Rock Springs, WY; Brett (Deneil-girlfriend) Rock Springs WY, and nine nieces & nephews.
He has lived in Sandy Utah; Ramstein Germany; El Paso, Texas; Mililani, Hawaii; Indianapolis , Indiana; Mukilteo, Washington; West Jordan, Utah; and Littlefield, Arizona.
I can imagine the reunion in Heaven, Grandma Jay slapping his face; Grandpa Jay, Yelling; Kim kicking his butt; and Grandma Davenport saying, "You don't have a lick of sense;" and Aunt Fay would punch him, all asking, "What are you doing here so soon," then comes the hugs and open arms.
He is proceeded in death by Grandfather & Grandmother, Jay & Euelues Abplanalp; and Grandfather & Grandmother Leon & Dortha Davenport.
Graveside Services for Dustin will be held May 13, 2023 at 12:00PM in Vernal Memorial Park by his Grandpa Jay. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
