Earl M Jensen

Earl M Jensen, age 79, of Vernal, Utah formerly of Mountain View, Wyoming, passed away July 30, 2023, in Vernal, Utah from a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 12, 1944, in Salina, Utah to George Rudolph Jensen and Francis Eliza Mills.

He married Christine Jones July 1, 1966, together they had 4 children; Suzette, Brenda, Davey, & Tracy. They later divorced in September 1993.

Earl lived in Mountain View, Wyoming for the past 40 years and spent most of his life working in the logging industry. He loved to fish, would travel anywhere to see his family, and loved taking pictures of anything and everything. He spent his retirement camp hosting in various parts of the country making new friends over the years. Earl never met a stranger; he found a connection to everyone he met. Family was the most important thing to him. He was a kind, giving man who forgave often and gave freely of whatever he had.

He was preceded in death by his son; Tracy, parents; George and Francis, brothers; Ronald, Henry, LaMont, & Rae, Sisters; Ina Inas, Vada Fryer, Bessie McKenna, Uzona Lynch, and Zada Wilcox.

He is survived by his daughters; Suzette (Tom) Thomas, Brenda Dellinger, Davey Jensen, Aimee (Joe) White; 8 grandchildren, Christopher (Chelsee) Dellinger, Sapphire Dellinger, Raquel Hadley, Tyler (Joey) Jensen, Matthew Barrow, Tracy (Taylor) Jensen; 3 great-grandchildren Hidey, Saylor, & Montana, Brothers; Floyd and Ivan and sister; Dolly Bardsley, and numerous nephews and nieces that he loved dearly.

Earl's family would like to thank Canyon Home Care & Hospice for their wonderful care and help during his illness.

Memorial services for Earl will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:30am at the Bridger Valley Senior Center (330 W 2nd St) in Mountain View, Wyoming. Arrangements under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
