Elaine Tina Jackson

Elaine "Tina" Oliver Jackson passed away at her home on July 8, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on September 12, 1933 to Ardella Lorraine Lake and Leo Essel Oliver in Castle Dale, Utah.

Elaine married Arvel Oaks on August 9, 1948. They had six children together: Eileen, Linda, Charlene, Raymond, Gloria and Ronald. They later divorced. On August 29, 1986 Elaine married the love of her life Larry Gene Jackson in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Elaine enjoyed sewing, genealogy, crocheting, cooking, keeping order and cleanliness, teaching in primary, relief society, Sunday school, cub scouts, family reunions and camping.

Elaine is survived by her husband Larry Gene Jackson, sisters: Leora Johanson, Patsy Lassche, and half sister Linda Oliver; brother Bruce Oliver; daughters Eileen (Gene) Harvey, Charlene (Rusty) McBride, Gloria (Jim) Allan, 37 grandchildren, 90 great grandchildren, 40 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandchild.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents Ardella Lorraine Lake and Leo Essel Oliver; brothers: Earl C. Oliver, Donald J. Oliver, and half-brother Larry Eugene Oliver; sons Raymond Dean Oaks, Ronald Jay Oaks; and daughter Linda Kay Cranford, and ex-husband Arvel Ray Oaks.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 2:00PM at Vernal 8th Ward LDS Chapel (1499 West Highway 40). A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday 12:45-1:45PM at the church. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
