Freda Richardson Obituary

Freda Richardson 74, passed away March 13, 2022 at the Maeser Beehive Home of Congestive Heart Failure. She was born in Homestead, Oklahoma November 18, 1947 to Frank and Anna Richardson. Freda has many fond memories of helping her Daddy run the gas station there, riding around in his delivery truck, soda and candy in hand. She attended school in Homestead until the 8th grade and then graduated from Okeene High School. After high school she moved to Enid and worked at the military base, got married and started a family. They lived in several different places finally settling in Vernal, Utah. Freda was always involved in her girls activities, 4-H and Young Women, she especially enjoyed girls camp. In her later years she enjoyed working at Ancestry.com and trips back home to visit her sister Elaine. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved her Savior.

Freda is survived by her two daughters: Shannon (Aaron) Workman and Trina Medley; 7 grandchildren: Leif, Damien, and Ella Workman; Raegan, Ivy, Penelope, Rome Miller; and their father Daeken Miller. Freda loved them all dearly, they were constantly in her prayers.

Freda will be sorely missed by her good friends Tori, Pat, James, Jordan, Connie, Craig, Bishop Sandau, and her caregivers and fellow residents at the Beehive Home. Thank you so much to all who have taken care of Freda over the years. A special thanks to Dr. Smuin for giving back her smile, Dr. Breitenbach for his compassionate care and the loving and patient care of the Beehive Home staff.

She is also survived by her childhood friend, high school classmate and "cousin" Joyce (Larry) Davis who kept her in touch with what was happening in her beloved Oklahoma. Her niece Melinda Westfahl, nephew Johnny Clester, their spouses and children all of Oklahoma.

Freda is preceded in death by her parents, a son who passed away at birth, granddaughter Zoe Workman and sister Elaine Clester, who she loved and missed so very much.

Rest in peace, we love you Freda.
