Joni Jean (Burton) Courtright-Clark

Joni Jean Burton Courtright-Clark passed away on April 12th, 2023 at the age of 66 in Jensen, Utah. Joni was born on June 26th, 1956 Utah to Emily (Andrews) Burton and Max Deloy Burton in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was married to David Courtright who passed away in 2006. She later married Gary Clark on February 12th, 2018. Joni was a hippie her whole life who loved beadwork, tie-dying, collecting crystals, going to Swap meets, raising dogs, and spending time with her step-kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. She was often seen talking walks in the desert, road-tripping all over the western US and riding her bike.

She is survived by her husband Gary Clark, her brothers Mitchell (Cheryl) Burton and Maxie DeLynn Burton, aunts and uncles, cousins, step-kids, grandchild, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Emily (Andrews) Burton and Max Deloy Burton, her first husband David Courtright, and her brother Mikele "Dino" Dean Burton.

Graveside services for Joni will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 at 3:00pm at the Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, Utah (1950 East 10600 South). Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
