Judith Elaine (Schmidt) Whaley

Judith Whaley passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 73. Judy was born on February 20, 1950 in Crystal Lake, Illinois to Ralph Earl Schmidt and Betty Lou Bleazard Schmidt. Judy touched lives with her spirit and huge heart. She enjoyed traveling and so many arts and crafts, but what she really loved was helping people. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and love. She will be sorely missed.

Judith is survived by her sons James (Wendy) Whaley and Jeff (Bobbie) Whaley, her siblings Ralph (Collette) Schmidt, Rod (LaRean) Schmidt, and Tammy (John) Oberndorfer, five grandchildren and many extra kids. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Betty Lou Schmidt and one grandson Nikolas.

Funeral Services for Judith will be held Monday August 14, 2023 at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday August 13 from 6:00pm ~ 8:00pm and Monday from 9:45am ~ 10:45am all at the funeral home.

Interment in the Larkin's Sunset Gardens in Sandy, Utah Monday at 4:00pm. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
