Justin Patrick Doyle passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 37 with his family surrounding him.
Justin was born April 19, 1984, to Jacqueline (Griffin) Doyle and John Doyle in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Justin married Rachel Morgan on November 13, 2015, in Black Forest, Colorado.
Justin enjoyed time with family and friends more than anything else. But he also loved pursuing new hobbies and passions which included woodworking, playing the bagpipes, snowboarding, hiking, sailing, making boardgames out of cigar boxes and old books, drinking beer, being a Parrothead, and a lifetime of watching the Simpsons. Justin climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2017, and he was recently inducted as a member of the North American Woodland Ape Conservancy.
Justin graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (where he met his future wife Rachel), and continued education and certifications throughout his career as a Law Enforcement Officer in the National Park Service. He worked at several units of the NPS including Florissant Fossil Beds, Big Bend National Park, Grand Canyon, Prince William Forest Park,Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania, Monocacy, Gettysburg, Bent's Old Fort, Catoctin Mountain Park, Devils Tower, George Washington Birthplace, and Dinosaur National Monument.
Justin is survived by his wife Rachel, daughter Minerva, and his parents and siblings Aaron (Amber), Weston, and Alea; nephews Kaiden and Jace; and paternal grandfather Richard.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Dale, maternal grandmother Marie, and paternal grandmother Hope.
A Riverside Remembrance will be held at Dinosaur National Monument (Jensen, UT) at the Split Mountain campground/boat ramp area on October 11, 2021, at 2:00pm.
A private dining room has been reserved for all attendees for a casual reception at Wingers Restaurant and Alehouse in Vernal beginning at 5:00pm.
