Kenneth William "Bill" Knoblock passed away on October 17, 2023 in Vernal, Utah. He was born in 1945 in Cortez, Colorado to Kenneth and Ruth Knoblock. He graduated from Rangely High School and attended one year at Rangely Junior College.
In October of 1966, he married his high school sweetheart Jannis Hegwer. Together the couple moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where Bill completed his military service in the United States Navy. The couple relocated to Soldotna, Alaska where Bill worked for the Marathon Oil Company. They lived there for 25 years enjoying the beautiful Alaska summers and raising their two sons. In 1993, they settled in Vernal, Utah, returning to the country they both loved. They spent the last 15 winters in Arizona enjoying the mild desert winters.
Bill is survived by his two sons Shawn Knoblock of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Lance Knoblock of Casa Grande, Arizona; and his four grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. No services will be held at this time. Arrangements under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
