LeEarl Jackson Obituary

LeEarl Jackson "Papa Lee" returned to his Heavenly Father after battling cancer, on April 3, 2022, at the age of 77. Lee was born on June 3rd, 1944, to Ivan Russell and Vola Hooley Jackson, in American Fork, Utah.

Lee married Sandra O'Brien on August 30th, 1963. Together they had four daughters. Jeri, Robyn, Brenda and Kristie. They later divorced.

On July 21st, 1977, Lee married his sweetheart, Julie White. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Vernal LDS Temple. They had two children, Jamie and LJ.
Lee ran the Chicken Time in Vernal from around 1972-1982. He worked in construction for many years as a hod tender. He later started his own business in lawn care. He enjoyed visiting his customers and helping the elderly. He became friends with all of them.

Lee enjoyed all sporting events, but his favorite was watching his grandkids play. He was a sports fanatic!

Lee was always happy and had a smile on his face. He had the Jackson belly laugh that is absolutely contagious! He was a joker and a tease and loved giving those he loved a hard time. He always said exactly what he was thinking.

We will miss you so much!!

He is survived by his loving wife Julie. Children, Jeri (Chris) Jackson, Robyn (Darald) Miller, Brenda Larsen, Kristie (Dave) Cook, Jamie (Shane) Labrum, LJ (Whitney) Jackson. Many grandkids and great grandkids. He is survived by brother Erven (Bernice) Jackson and sister Verla (Ned) Peterson and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Brother Lloyd Jackson, brother Brent Jackson and father-in-law, Henry White.
