Linda Ann (McLaughling) Muir, age 66 of Vernal, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at the age of 66. Linda was born on February 2, 1957 to Phyllis Hughes and James McLaughlin in Glasgow, Scotland. She married Charles Muir on August 5, 1988 in Taylorsville, Utah.
Linda immigrated from Scotland to America with the love of her life, Charlie. Together they put down their own roots in an unfamiliar land. They weren't alone on that journey and had family members that came along. Something that was most important (Family).
It's hard to sum up the life of someone so unforgettable. There will never be enough ink to the paper. Her sense of humor will be heard as we recall the echo of her laughter or visualize the outline of her smile. She taught us so much. To never be afraid of the world, to reach out to people, and to try new things. She was a wonderful example of empathy, especially when showing compassion for those who were struggling. She will continue to guide us all, as we continue our own life journeys.
Though she may be gone, she will never be forgotten. Her memory and legacy will live on in our hearts, in our minds, and in our soul. We love you beyond the realms of this world.

Linda is survived by her only son, Charlie; three beautiful daughters, Adelle, Shauna, and Shayla; son in law Halston; grandchildren Kaylea, Angelina, Domonyc (Kassi) Gaberiel, Riley, Anthony, Maddie, McKenna, Trinity, Raiden, Zechariya, Michael, Xavreah, and many great grand children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Muir; parents James and Phyllis McLaughlin; and Miriam Muir.
A celebration of life for Linda will take place Sunday October 8, 2023, from 10am to 5pm, at Linda's home, 4772 West Hillside Drive in Vernal, Utah. Arrangments under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
