Mark Renfro passed away on Oct 22, 2023, at the age of 63. Mark was born on December 1, 1959, to Virginia Gregory and Wray Renfro in Independence, Missouri. Mark married Debbie (Guest) Renfro on July 6, 1985, in Moon Lake, Utah.
Mark enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, hiking, and canoeing. Throughout his life he enjoyed building custom homes in Park City, Utah, and on the West Coast. Mark had opportunities to work on once in a lifetime projects, such as the building of the Upper Stillwater Dam (1985-1987). In 2002 he worked on the bobsled track for the Winter Olympics held in Park City, Utah. Mark also made time for his family and friends, and that brought him the greatest joy in his life.
Mark is survived by his wife, Debbie (Guest) Renfro; his stepmother Jerrian Thompson Renfro; his two sons, Josh Renfro and Justin (Alyssa) Renfro; son in-law Dusty Scott; grandchildren, Codie, Brayden, Kole, and Tanner Scott; granddaughter Naomi Rae Renfro; siblings, Wray Renfro, Gwen Johnson, Cara (Aaron) Novotny and Anthony (Ashlie) Renfro; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wray Renfro, and his mother, Virginia Gregory; as well as his beautiful daughter Sheena Marie Scott.
A private family celebration of life will take place next spring. Arrangements under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
