Norman Ray Powell

Norman Ray Powell passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 62. Norman was born on April 7, 1961 to Norma Lucille (Whitaker) Powell and Robert Ray Powell in Guam.

Norman was a multi talented brilliant mind and his list of hobbies is extensive. He liked to fish, hunt, golf, and he loved music, but what he enjoyed the most was time spent with his loved ones.

He is survived by his children Rae Ann Christensen, Wesley Powell, Kelli Hanakeawe, Dani Rae Wilson, Derek Powell, his mother; Norma Powell, brothers; Eric Powell, Rod Powell sisters; Debbie Fowler, Rhonda Jones, Wendy Owens and Susan Manwaring, His grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his ex-wife Dana Turner Powell.

He is preceded in death by his Father Robert Ray Powell, Sister Roxanne Clark and Nephew Ronnie Jones. Norman will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Funeral services for Norman will be held Thursday April 27, 2023 at 11:00am. Visitation for family and friends will be held 9:00am ~ 10:45am all at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Interment in Vernal Memorial Park.
