Randy Brown Obituary

Randy Don Brown peacefully passed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on April 16, 2020 at the age of 63. Randy was born on March 20, 1957 to Betty and Don Brown in Vernal, Utah.

Randy graduated from the class of 1975 from Uintah High School. He married Liz Saiz in 1978 in Vernal, Utah. Together they had their son Brandon Randy. They later divorced. Randy met the love of his life, Cindy Behunin, and they married and blended their families in 1988. Together they added 3 more children to their family, making a total of 6 beautiful children. Randy and Cindy were sealed for time and all eternity in the Vernal LDS Temple on October 7, 2017.

Randy was an avid bowler. He bowled a perfect 300 game in 1986. Randy was a journeyman meat cutter, following in his Fathers footsteps. In 2008, Randy and Cindy established a sweeping business called RC Super Sweepers. He was very enthusiastic about being a business owner. Randy treated and loved his employees as if they were his own children. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and riding ATVs with his family. He was a very genuine, caring, and loving man with a playful personality that we all loved. Randy did not judge anyone. He loved everyone for who they were. He was a father figure to many. He had a gift of communicating his love to everyone and making them feel special. He enjoyed learning about the gospel. Randy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Randys family meant everything to him. He was always looking for opportunities to get the family together. Randy was the only brother of 5 sisters who he cherished and loved dearly.

Randy is survived by his beautiful bride, Cindy and their 6 children. He felt extremely fortunate and proud of having his children all living in Vernal. Brandon and Amanda Brown and their children Easton and McKenzi; Jeramie and Chelsie Young and their children Myrissa, Savanna, Landen,and Colton; Brandon Bubba and Lavina Young and their children Maycee, Shyann, and Bronx; Trevor Brown; Tarra and Justin Bristol and their children Cayden, Kesley, and Kalley; and Tyson Brown and Rachelle Murray. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Anice Behunin (Price, UT) and her dear friend Merrille Maloof, his sisters Elaine (John) Sindt (Sandy, UT), Helen (Gene) Searle (Vernal, UT), and Susan (Lalo) Rios (Vernal, UT) and his brother-in-laws Kurt Rich (Price, UT) and Craig (Marlene) Smuin (Price, UT).

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Betty, sister Maurine Smuin, sister Donetta Rich, father-in-law Darrell Behunin, brother-in-law Richard Behunin, and his precious grandson Bronx Young.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2020 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday from 9:00am-2:00pm at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery. Services will be live streamed at www.AshleyValleyFuneralHome.com.
