Robert "Bob" Scott Davis passed away on October 27, 2023 at the age of 62. Bob was
born on March 7, 1961 to Mary Margaret Davis and Fred Allen Davis in Escondido
California. Bob married Marrianne Kay Davis on March 21, 1987 in Vernal, Utah.
Bob and Marrianne were blessed with two sons and two grandchildren.
Bob enjoyed riding dirt bikes, camping, fishing, hunting, shooting guns and
shooting his sling shot. If you bought him a bag of marbles for his sling shot he
was thrilled.
Bob loved being with his family and his beautiful grandchildren. He especially
enjoyed spending time on the mountain with everyone.
Bob worked in the oilfield for over 35 years until 2016 when he took two years off
work to build his and Marrianne's dream cabin on Diamond Mountain. Once the
cabin was completed; Bob decided to not return to the oilfield. As he stated then,
"I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. And I tired of working in the mud, snow
and cold." So he took a job at Wal-Mart doing the store renovations and then
later went to Lowes to be a lumber pro. Bob was always very helpful and a very
hard worker. When he would get home from Lowes there were times that his
phone would record over 25,000 steps a day! He was often sought out by friend
when they came to Lowe's so that he could help them. Lillian would often come
to Lowe's with Kagen and the minute she walked through the doors should would
start hollering for "Papa".
Bob is survived by his wife Marrianne Kay Davis. His sons Robert Kagen (Kelsey)
Davis and Kyler Scott (Kenzie) Davis, his grandchildren Lillian Kay Davis and
Matthew John Davis. His Mother Mary Davis, his brothers Steve and Rick Davis,
and his sister Sue (Fred) Hearring. He is also survived by numerous friends and
family.
