Todd Hadlock Obituary

After a long and courageous battle with Pulmonary fibrosis Todd passed away peacefully at
his home on Easter morning March 31, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born in Vernal, Utah, on May 26, 1947. He was the 2nd of 6 children born to LeGrande and Billie Hadlock. Todd graduated from Uintah High School in 1965.

Todd was married and sealed to Lonnie Jean Edrington in the Salt Lake City, LDS temple on June 11, 1971. Together Todd and Lonnie dedicated their lives to raising their four children: Michael, Tricia, Brian and Cami.

Todd was very patriotic and proud to serve his country in the US Army National Guard, 1457 Engineer Battalion for 12 years.

Todd remained steadfast, faithful, dedicated and devoted to his faith. Todd loved the Savior and had a very strong testimony. Todd served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southwest British mission. Todd served in many callings in the Vernal 5th and 9th Wards for over 45 years, along with stake callings and serving in the Vernal LDS Temple. He also devoted time to working or volunteering in the BSA, Santas workshop, Utah Relay for Life, PCRA Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo and ARMC Pink Ladies Auxiliary along with Lonnie.

Todd worked as a Vernal City police officer. Later he worked for the Uintah School District as a maintenance/head custodian until he retired 30 years later. He had a good work ethic, was honest, kind, a true leader and lived a Christlike life.

Todd was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a great teacher, leader, mentor and friend. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His hobbies were drawing, woodworking, wood carving, being in the mountains, fishing and just being with family.

Todd is survived by his wife, Lonnie; their children Michael (Emily), Tricia, Brian (Tracy), Cami (Brady) Shultis; 9 grandchildren: Andrew, Quinton, Nathan, Zachary, Keira, Haley, Lucas, Blake and Aloni; and 2 great-grandchildren: Lillie'Ann and Dawson. His siblings Rex (Annette), Kent (Ura Louise), Tim (Ellen) and Van (Wendy).
