Tory J. Nilson was born in Logan, Utah on January 2, 1980 to Barbara Nilson. Tory was the most incredible man, son, and husband. Above all, he was the greatest father to Shelby, B and Mayzlee. He loved his family with all of his heart. He loved being a fireman for Naples City and loved his firefighter family. He worked for the State of Utah on the Road Department. For many years he worked in the oil field running a winch truck.
He loved to be outdoors, in the mountains and spending time with anyone who went with him. Tory loved spending time camping, fishing, family get-to-gathers, and hunting. He was totally involved in all of his children's sports, school and other activities. He always had his family and his dog with him where ever he was at. He would do anything for anyone and had a very charitable heart. If you needed something fixed, Tory could figure out how to fix it.
Anyone who met Tory loved him right away. He had a smile and laugh that was infectious. If there was a joke or prank going on you would find Tory in the center of it laughing and enjoying every moment. He had many health issues which took him from his loved ones. The world has lost the most amazing man.
Tory was preceded in death by his grandmothers Nancy Nilson and Louise Clark, and his grandfather, Ben Clark. Many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his Wife, Jasmin Nilson, his three children, Shelby, Bart Brexton, and Mayzlee, his mother, Barbara Nilson, Grandpa Frank Nilson and his fire fighter family. His second family. Mickie Allred, Alina (Matt) Tate, Sheree (Jordan) Arnold, Jeremy (Emma) Allred, Casey (Rhandi) Allred, Joshua (Laura) Allred, Kara (Austin) Hatch, Lacey (Stacee) Goodrich, NaKiya (Johnny) Curtice, ShayLai Allred, Mitisia Allred, Ben Clark, Jeff Clark, Mike (Amanda) Braithwaite. Many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Many other friends and loved ones. Life will never be the same without him.
A special thank you to the Naples City Firefighters and EVERYONE else for all their kindness and service. What a great act that is way above and beyond that everyone has provided. The tribute for escorting him into town and his final resting place was appreciated more that a thank you can ever express.
