Wesley Ralph Billings

Wesley Ralph Billings passed away on August 20th, 2023 at the age of 44. Wesley was born July 31, 1979 in Vernal, Utah to Milton and Diana Billings.

Wesley attended school in Vernal and graduated from Uintah High School in 1997.

Wesley loved anything outdoors. Camping, side by side riding, riding dirtbikes, fishing, and spending time with his family roasting marshmallows. From the time Wesley was a small child he loved taking things apart and putting them back together, starting with his four sisters' toy sewing machine. As he grew older he developed excellent automotive skills. He could fix any mechanical machines, including boats, motorcycles, cars, trucks and semi trucks.

Wesley served with Gold Cross Ambulance for five years. He was passionate about his service there because he valued the ability to save lives and help people in distress. He was a member of the Vernal City Fire Department for three years. Again, he loved serving others. Service was very important to him, whether on the ambulance, the fire truck or just helping a friend or neighbor with a broken down vehicle.

Wesley had a kind tender heart and concern for others, including his dogs Scooter, Linus, Shorty and Fifi, and the cat Piper. Even some baby birds that fell in his yard that he took care of. He always loved his children and supported them in whatever they wanted to do. He was proud of them and their accomplishments. He loved his family to the moon and back. We love you son, dad, brother and husband.

Wesley is survived by his mother Diana; five siblings; and his five children, Erik, Raelynn, Evelynn, Charlotte, Titus; as well as his wife Amanda.

Wesley was preceded in death by his father Milton Billings, an infant daughter Katelin, grandparents Eldon and Dezzie Billings and George and Reva Long.

Funeral services for Wesley will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Ashley 1st Ward LDS Chapel (3040 North Vernal Avenue). A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday evening from 6-8PM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Friday 9:45-10:45AM at the Church. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
